David Shrigley (David Shrigley) coincided with the holiday season launched a new ceramic teapot.

THE TEA IS ALIVE is handmade in the UK using traditional fine bone china production methods. This process is to pour liquid clay into a custom-made mold for shaping, and then the object undergoes 20 different manual processes and 3 firings in a kiln. The result is a unique sculpture, very suitable for daily use or as a work of art.

Faithful to his preference for humor, the teapot is covered with Shrigley’s whimsical note: "Tea is still alive/it will live in you." The teapot can hold up to 800 ml at a given time, which is equivalent to about four Cup. Due to the molding process, each of these 999 sculptures is unique and packaged in a stylish black and white display box.

THE TEA IS ALIVE can be booked through the Shrig store for 295.00 EUR/1466.28 USD. The goods provide free courier service and will be delivered in the second week of December.

In other art news, Matt McCormick and Tappan Collective released a new set of paintings. Read the full text
